Piers Morgan today reduced a mother to tears as he roasted her for being ‘the worst kind of parent’ for invoicing a friend £325 when her daughter came home from a playdate with scuff and pen marks on her designer ‘Italian fur booties’.
He blasted her for having the ‘audacity’ to send the bill and said she was ‘not a responsible parent’ as the pair got into a slanging match on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
Fashion designer Sarah Louise Bryan, 28, defended her actions and claimed to have packed an alternative pair of shoes that her three-year-old daughter could have changed into, before fighting back tears as she screamed ‘she had spares!’
She asked Piers what he would do if faced with a similar situation but the presenter hit back angrily, telling her: ‘What would I do? Well I wouldn’t be buying my daughter £325 shoes to start with!’

The presenter was also aghast when Miss Bryan, from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, told him Isabella had 60 pairs of shoes.
‘You sent her in a £325 pair of booties to your mate’s house and she gets a few pen marks on them – which by the way happens with three-year-old girls,’ Piers went on.
‘I have a five-year-old girl – they get pen marks on them, they draw.
‘And then when she comes back with these pen marks you have the audacity to send her an invoice.’
The back and forth continued, with Miss Bryan becoming emotional about the social media backlash she has received since the story broke last week.
Plenty of viewers once again took to Twitter to criticise her for sending the invoice, many congratulating Piers for his handling of the interview.
After the show an angry Miss Bryan, who calls herself an ‘actress in training’ on her Twitter profile, said she had a panic attack in the dressing room. She then took to the social media platform to further add fuel to the fire.

In the past the mother-of-two has courted publicity for designing dresses out of skittles and pubic hair – and even appealed for sperm on Twitter for her next outfit.
She tweeted earlier today: ‘Maybe I’ll make a new design from balls because @piersmorgan clearly doesn’t have any.
Miss Bryan added: ‘Could use some spares for when he’s against a man.’
She later told The Sun Online, she blasted: ‘I was so angry [when the interview ended] that I had a panic attack in the dressing room.
FROM BEAUTICIAN TO DESIGNER AND NOW AN ASPIRING ACTRESS
Sarah Louise Bryan is no stranger to publicity – or the odd career-change.
In 2015, the mother-of-two claimed she had no choice but to leave her family home when she was left unable to pay the rent.
But then the former beautician’s life was turned upside down after she created a show-stopping dress made out of Skittles, which led clothing company Ripleys to give her her own line.
The 28-year-old then used her design skills to create something far less sweet: a top and skirt made from none other than pubic hair – which she hoped to sell for £10,000.
She said she decided to create the pubic hair top and shirt because she wanted to ‘kick Lady Gaga off her throne’.
The designer asked social media for people to donate their pubic hair, and was so pleased with how successful it was she did it again for her next idea.
‘I appealed for sperm donations on Twitter for my next outfit,’ she told FEMAIL last July. ‘I’ve had over 300 responses so far!’
Miss Bryan also previously tweeted about how she was ‘concentrating on her acting’, while listing on her profile that she is an ‘actress in training’.
As well as homelessness, she said she has overcome other personal issues including a painful breakup that sparked an addiction to laxatives.
‘Producers and people were apologising for what had happened.
‘Piers is a vicious bully who is trying to be controversial – but as far as I am concerned he has no balls.’
Miss Bryan had been left furious after Isabella, who only wears designer clothes, returned home with damaged shoes after an afternoon with a friend.
The mother, who ships in clothes from international boutiques for her daughter, was so angry that she emailed the child’s mother demanding that she pay to replace the shoes by February 1.
Miss Bryan said her daughter, an aspiring child model, only wears designer labels, but she carries changes with her everywhere she goes.
She even ships clothes in from a specialist Spanish boutique so that Isabella – known as Bella – always ‘looks perfect’, Miss Bryan said.
The fur booties, which she claims cost £325, are particularly important because her daughter uses them for fashion shoots and they match all of her other outfits.
And as a designer, Miss Bryan, who hit the headlines for making a dress out of pubic hair last year, said it is vital that her daughter always looks ‘pristine’ because it reflects on her professionally.
Sarah Bryan said: ‘Bella is just starting out in modelling and I make sure she is always dressed head to toe in designer gear.
‘I have a pair of black £700 Christian Louboutin shoes which I struggle to walk in, but I’m into fashion and I want Bella to be into fashion as well.
‘Bella is already so image-conscious that she knows how to accessorise and is very colour co-ordinated.
‘It’s fine for other parents to dress their kids in cheap Primark gear, but I think Bella to want to be more than that and I’m happy to spend money to make her look good and feel special.’
Although she concedes that not all children can afford the clothes she dresses Bella in, she thinks that her daughter’s friends mother was responsible for their children when they were damaged and should pay to replace them.
In the email she write: ‘So Isabella has just come home from her playdate with your child and I am disgusted to see her new Italian leather shoes are all scuffed and have a Sharpie mark on them.

‘Below is the bill for these replacing because they can not be fixed these are fine Italian leather! As a designer I do not want my child to look anything less than pristine.
‘Bill for a replacement pair of Italian fur booties £325 to be paid by 01/02/2017 before I take this higher. Thank you. Sarah.’
The designer first made headlines when she made a dress from Skittles, which is now on display at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum in London.
Miss Bryan spent six hours every day for a month creating the garment, made from 3,000 of the sweets.

She went on to design a dress made of 3,000 poppies for the Royal British Legion, inspired by the poppies outside the Tower of London in 2014.
But her next project was even more ambitious, and bizarre, when she made a top and skirt from pubic hair.
Miss Bryan fired off the furious email (pictured, a recreation), demanding £325
Sarah created the outfit because she wanted to ‘kick Lady Gaga off her throne’ after the singer famously wore a dress made from meat at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
It took around six months to make the top and skirt and dozens of people sent her ‘material’ to use.
And in December 2016 she unveiled another stomach-churning project, a dress made out of fish.
Miss Bryan crafted her floor-length gown using around 100 pomfret, sea bream, mackerel and squid from her local fish and chip shop.
She admitted her latest design was her ‘grossest ever’ and left her covered in blood and squid ink, and stinking of fish.
Miss Bryan hopes it can raise awareness of the strict rules faced by fishermen and food waste.
And while it seems this was the most disgusting dress yet, it seems she is hoping to go one better with her next project.
